Oğuzhan Uğur's Reaction to the Russia Earthquake: "We Will Ask What Would Happen If It Happened to Us"
One of the most powerful earthquakes in recent history occurred off the coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula, located in eastern Russia . Footage taken during the 8.8 magnitude earthquake showed the solidity of the houses. Initial reports indicated no casualties, and the Kamchatka airport reported no problems with the runway, apron, or taxiways .
Phenomenon Oğuzhan Uğur shared the images of the earthquake and made a comparison between the world and Turkey.

Footage taken during the earthquake and shared on social media also highlighted the sturdiness of the buildings. While no casualties have yet been reported in the earthquake, the largest in recent history, the airport, located in the earthquake zone, has reportedly suffered only damage to some decorative panels and the exterior. Passenger operations at the airport are reportedly continuing as planned.

Sharing a video of the earthquake taken from inside the house, Uğur compared the reaction to an earthquake around the world with the reaction in Turkey and said, "Long live Turkey."

" This video will hit news agencies and spread around the world. It will become a trending topic in foreign countries, just as it is here."
Of course, they're different from us. The difference is that they'll first be surprised by the magnitude of an 8.8 earthquake. We'll first be surprised by the old buildings that survived an 8.8 magnitude earthquake. At most, they'll ask each other, "Has there ever been an earthquake of this magnitude in the world?" We'll ask, "What would happen if the same thing happened here?"
This isn't a pessimistic criticism, don't get me wrong. It shows how different a country we are. Long live Turkey .'
